What I do: An overview of my CV

Employment History

My dedication to building successful brands has led me to:

· Work with 25+ local, national and international B2B and B2C businesses across a variety of sectors.

· Deliver a plethora of above the line and below the line marketing campaigns (digital and traditional), some with up to 60% conversion rate. 

· Project manage the refurbishment of five hospitality venues, one of which was filmed for Channel 4. 

· Be confident in uncovering business insights, and delivering direct solutions through conducting research and presenting findings in reports and presentations.


I am passionate about branding, communication and people. I am and eager to develop and enhance brands with purpose, personality, and customer-focus. For the past six years, I have been self-employed as a Creative Business Development Consultant, working with entrepreneurs and SMEs in the UK to build purpose-driven brands. I am predominantly focussed on brand and business strategy, implementing brand re-designs, engaging marketing, and enhancing customer experience and the customer journey.


I am excited to support and inspire entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. For the past few months I have been mentoring students to build start-ups with purpose and sustainability. I directly mentored 12 start-ups (30 students), and supported over 200+ students during Hackathon and Sprint events. I was also a member of the judging panel for three pitching and showcase events.


Academic History

I am fully accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and trained in Prince2 Agile Project Management.

 
I have completed an MSc in Marketing and Brand Management at Kingston University, London. Achieving a Distinction, and consistently the highest performing student in my cohort. 


I was honoured to be awarded a scholarship to study based on outstanding academic achievements and societal contribution.  


My course included modules such as: Global Marketing Management, Consumer Psychology, Market Research, Data Analysis, Brand Strategy, Marketing Communications and Branding Design. I have also won all three live briefs throughout the year.


My dissertation was on the reciprocal effects of corporate reputation and brand perceived ethicality, with relevance to strategic portfolio management.


Being creative, as well as business minded. I also have a First Class Hons in 3D Design and Materials, finishing top three of my year group, and having my dissertation shortlisted for an award.  


Voluntary History

I've always been driven by purpose, and have been volunteering since the age of 11. Instead of participating in youth groups, you'd find me behind the scenes supervising and running activities. By 13 years old I was organising and running large-scale charity events. Over the years I have been responsible for raising over 15k for various charities. 


I have volunteered in marketing and branding roles, as well as supported homeless projects, mental health/wellbeing charities, organsiations for disadvantaged children and young people, various youth centres, art and creative projects, and an orphanage in Africa.
